LUNGCARE XL - Miles Ahead of the Curve

LUNGCARE XL - Miles Ahead of the Curve

Lungcare was developed to support a healthy respiratory system in the horse. It contains a blend of bioflavonoids and antioxidants that are clinically proven to reduce capillary fragility and improve immunity to infection. Consider it to be your front-line defense in the management of heaves and stable cough.

The main benefits of Lungcare include the following:

    Supports the respiratory system.
    Reduced capillary fragility.
    Improves immunity to infection.
    Improves cardiac blood flow.
    Contains no fillers.

Ingredients include alfalfa, aniseed, antioxidant blend, bilberry, garlic, and Rutin. Rutin has long been recognized for decreasing capillary fragility.

A Lasix Alternative
Our Payson Park (Florida) study proved that “bleeders” could be reduced in racing Thoroughbreds on Lungcare and without Lasix use.
The 2005 study evaluated the effect of Rutin on actively racing Thoroughbreds with a history of exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage. Conducted in partnership with Roger Attfield, seven horses received Rutin or a placebo for 28 days. Endoscopy of the lungs after racing both prior to and following treatment with Rutin demonstrated that the product virtually eradicated signs of bleeding following racing, compared with a placebo. Read An Investigation into the Efficacy of a Polyherbal Composite (Lungcare) in Preventing Exercise-Induced Pulmonary Hemorrhage (EIP) in Racing Thoroughbreds by Wendy Pearson, PhD.
LUNGCARE XL is available in powder and liquid format.

Product is palatable for horses and has a number of ingredients known to help with allergies and the immune response without the hefty price tag. Definitely a product you could use alone or in conjunction with others! — Anonymous
