Selenium (plus dl vitamin E)*

Vitamin E plus selenium yeast 55 mg/kg. Selenium 55 doses per kg / 18g scoop = 1 mg/day. There are 2036 IU of Vitamin E / scoop.

Our Sel-E-nium product is the combination of the powerful antioxidants’  Vitamin E and Organic Yeast Selenium.  It helps to reduce muscle damage and inflammation and lessens the risk of muscle tie-up.

Add Selenium provided from feed and other supplements to determine total daily Selenium intake. The NRC requirement for a 500 kg horse in moderate work is 1.13 mg daily. More is required for Elite or High-intensity athletes.

This product is also available in a 2 kg size Vet Strength formulation, which contains 4 mg of organic Selenium per 18 g dose and 2036 IU synthetic Vitamin E.

Always check feed and other supplements for Selenium content to assess total intake.  Rock selenium can be toxic in high doses, we use selenium grown on yeast.
